Avery's first black eye (Aug 6). I was at work and Dale was cooking supper, so no-one saw what happened. Blake said she hit her head on the bannister (while they were fooling around of course!) When I got home from work, she was holding the side of her head, so we didn't know that she had hit her eye until the bruise came out a couple of hours later. Oh well, I'm sure this won't be the last one she gets--I have a feeling she's going to be my little fighter!
