This past weekend was the first time this winter that we were able to build a snowman. The winter has been so horrendously cold that the snow has been so icy and just fallen apart. Finally it was sticky enough to roll. We usually make a snow family, but the snow was still a little icy underneath the first layer, so we had to settle for one. The kids even colored him with red and blue water. Little Miss Avery didn't hesitate to pose with him for a picture--I didn't even have to ask!!

Nice snowman. I hear you about the crappy snowman making snow. We've managed to make a sledding hill and an igloo, but our poor snowman just hasn't come together. Hopefully one of these days.
