MAD weekend!

Leica's Saturday scraps was absolutely fantastic as usual! Our group decided to be MAD scrappers this time.....we thought we were going to have some stiff competition this time so we pulled out all the stops! Our table was decorated with a MAD floral arrangement by Kari, and a MAD cake made by Karen. We had a rabbit hole with MAD tree branches, jars filled with scrapbooking and other goodies, and of course we were all adorned in MAD outfits complete with hats that outlined all of our MAD obsessions. We just knew we were going to win....do you think we did?




Of course we did! However, I wish I could say we won over alot of stiff competition, but unfortunately we won by default. Not one other table was dressed up this year. I like to win, but, but hey a little competition would be great! We figure everyone is scared of us--I mean really, we win every year, but man do we plan and we deserve it!

Once again we had a great lunch supplied by Leica's mom....Mexican Fiesta this year (I know Jenn took pics of the spread, so check out her blog..maybe she'll post some pictures). We had a special treat this year for dessert.....the best cupcakes made by our own local Saucy lady. This is actually the first time I tried them...I had the S'mores and then went back and got a Strawberry one. Honestly, they're better than any of the stores around here!


Lots of fun getting together with friends I haven't seen in awhile and I actually got some scrapbooking done as well! Till next time my friends.
