It's never too cold for the zoo!

Friday was such a beautiful day that I figured we needed to get outside. My first thought was to just go sledding, but then I thought...why not the zoo? So, that's where we went. The kids were very excited since they haven't been since last summer, plus it was the first time we've ever gone in the winter. It was also nice that the kids walked the entire time. I usually have the wagon in the summer, so they're usually just riding along and not getting much exercise. I'm surprised that they lasted as long as they did without complaining about having to walk.

Of course, they managed to find a nice big snowpile to slide down on.

My favorite part was the tigers. There was no one around us when we went there and the tigers were sitting right up close to the glass. Then one started to approach us, so I told Blake to put his face against the glass. That tiger came up and put his nose right against the window next to Blake's. Unfortunately, there was a some frozen water on the inside of the glass right where they were, so the pics are a little obstructed.

WOW. That is sooo cool! We went to the zoo yesterday morning, forgot my camera though. The Tigers weren't out yet. The kids loved seeing the swans, geese, and ducks swimming in their indoor pool best.
