Puddle Jumping

It was such a beautiful day today that we spent some of the afternoon outside. Blake was trying to stop the water from running down the street by building a dam. He did this by shoveling the snow from our yard on to the street. A few times we almost got it to stop, but the water kept melting it and it kept escaping from underneath. It sure kept Blake occupied for awhile.



I then wanted them to jump in the puddles. Blake was too preoccupied with building his dam that he didn't really want to, so this is his great attempt at a splash:





Avery, on the other hand took a running jump to end up with a splash like this:




And Dale, well he was inside putting up our new TV that we decided to purchase for the upstairs living room. For year, I was saying I wanted one here, but he kept saying "We don't need one upstairs, it's useless." Then once we bought the WII, now we needed one so the kids don't tie up the TV downstairs and interrupt his sports programs!!
