After Avery and I picked Blake up from school, we stayed outside and played with sidewalk chalk. All of sudden Avery said "mommy, look at my people". I turned to see that she had drawn this:
I was so proud of her as she has never drawn any type of object before, usually just circles and lines and scribbles. So this was her first ever attempt at a person and I LOVE IT!
We then continued to draw and play hopscotch. We even played it the right way-well almost. We threw a pebble and hopped to where it landed, we just didn't do it in any particular order. This was also a first as usually we just hop through the squares, so I was surprised when Blake started to
